권영미 개인전 Between Blue and Green

유년 시절 자연이 주는 시각적 이미지가 두려움의 대상이었다면,
긴 시간의 흐름과 경험으로 마주하는 자연은 치유로 다가온다.

드로잉은 일상에서 지나쳐 버렸던 사물을 다시 살펴보게 하고,
나는 오늘도 설레이는 마음으로 선을 긋는다.

[Artist’s Note]
If the visual imagery bestowed by nature during my childhood was once a source of fear, the nature I encounter now—shaped by the passage of time and accumulated experience—arrives as a profound healing.

Drawing allows me to reexamine the objects I once passed by in my daily life, and today, too, I trace my lines with an eager and awakened heart.

Between Blue and Green

나에게 블루는 내 존재의 모든 것을 품는 심연이자 본질이다.

블루는 침묵과 깊이의 공간을 만들고, 그린은 빛과 조우하여 외부와의 소통을 시작하며, 매체를 중첩해 가고 드러내는 과정에서, 때로는 내면의 풍경과 마주하게 된다.

To me, blue is the abyss and the essence that encompasses
the entirety of my existence.

While blue carves out a space of silence and profound depth, green encounters light and initiates a dialogue with the exterior. Through the process of layering and revealing media, I occasionally find myself face-to-face with my inner landscape.
